Sir I have a L.R.H Lightweight with the L-shaped line guard, 2 screw latch that is ribbed , ribbed reel foot, 4 pillars

I think that the ribbed latch is somewhat different than on other L.R.H Lightweight reels I have seen - Would you say it was a - variation of some sort ?

You can see pictures of the reel on:

http://www.digitalbucket.net/browse/8783db9f4db7ffa7/My%2520Videos

Kind regards

I have a LRH lightweight with a riveted "L" shaped line guard, RHW, 2 screw latch, ribbed reel foot, 4 pillers, stamped 30 Y on the inside. Do you have any idea of its age?

I have a Lightweight with a smooth foot, an l-shaped line guard, and is almost a half-ounce lighter than my contemporary Lightweight. It can be seen at the following listing: http://clarksclassicflyrodforum.yuku.com/topic/28092/t/Two-English-reels.html

My question is, when was this reel made?
